Check Endorsement
If the insurance company has made a check payable to you and PRIMUS
Financial Services, select one of the options below to have the
check endorsed.
Option 1: Mail Check
The following is needed:
- The insurance estimate (provided by the insurance company when the
damage is assessed)
- Body shop work order/invoice (provided by the body shop when the repairs
are made)
- Certificate of Satisfactory Repair
(signed by the customer and the body shop agreeing that the repairs
have been made on the vehicle)
Exception: if check is over $7500 certificate of repairs
is not accepted (except in CT, RI, NY). Instead a *dealer inspection
is required.
*To obtain a dealer inspection letter, please take
your repaired vehicle to the original dealer so the repairs may be
inspected.
Then mail all of the above with the insurance check, including account
number on all documents, to our correspondence address:
PRIMUS
Financial Services
Attn: Insurance Check Endorsements
P.O. Box 680020
Franklin, TN 37068-0020
*Fax of above documents are acceptable. The fax number is 615-315-6656.
Once insurance check and above listed documents are received, the check
will be endorsed within 48-72 hours. Note: Account must be current
for prompt processing.
The check will be mailed to the body shop to pay for the repairs. If
the body shop has already been paid, a receipt from the body shop will
be required in order for the check to be endorsed and mailed to the customer.
Option 2: Local Offices (in person)
Customers may have their insurance check endorsed at one of our local
offices. In order to use this option, the customer must set up an appointment.
Once an appointment is made, the customer must take the repaired vehicle
along with the insurance check, the insurance estimate, and the body shop
work order. Upon inspection of the vehicle, the check will be endorsed
to either the body shop (if not already paid) or the customer.
