Title / Registration Information
State
to State Move
Customers that move from one state to another must register their vehicle
in the new state. To complete a state-to-state transfer, contact your
local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to obtain the correct paperwork.
Please be sure the DMV paperwork includes your name, account number, Vehicle
Identification Number, and the DMV address and phone number. The DMV must
fax or mail the documents to:

Please be advised that you will be responsible for any fees associated
with the state-to-state transfer.
Once we have received the completed paperwork from DMV, the title/lien
card will be mailed to the DMV address within 3-5 business days.
Note: If you reside in Alaska, Minnesota, Nevada, or Washington,
you are not required to contact the DMV. For these states only, you may
submit a written request directly to the address or fax listed above.
For lease customers only: A Power of Attorney will be mailed with
the title/lien card to the DMV after the paperwork is received and processed.
Name Change
You must provide the following information to change the name on a title:
- The account number
- Your previous and current (new) name
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) address and phone number
- Copy of a legal document reflecting the change (i.e. marriage certificate,
divorce decree)

Within 3-5 business days from the receipt of the above information, the
name on the account will be updated and the title/lien card will be mailed
to the DMV. You will be responsible for paying to the DMV any fees associated
with the name change.
